An apple house

A sweet home.

Apples rot

Apples rot easily, But dried apples don’t. Dry a giant apple and make yourself a sweet, fruity home.

Inside of the sweet apple house

A small, but essential, and overall, cozy home. Sweetness is just an additional value.

But why an apple house?

One day, as my mind was wandering on trivial thoughts, I had this funny idea that I found someone living inside an apple. So a short story it became, in which I’ll lay the dialogue below.

– Hi, I live in a big apple house.
– I live inside a big apple.
– Apples rot.
– And trees die.
– Yes, but it takes more time. Apples rotten easily.
– Not mine.
– You really live inside an apple?
-Yes, I’ll invite you. Come to my place tomorrow evening, I’ll prepare a special meal just for you.

And the next day, the apple tree lodger went by the giant apple.

– Is this…
– This is my apple. Home.
– Oh.
– I think that the apple is from your tree actually. I’m sorry I took it.
– Don’t mind at all. It’s not like I was gonna eat it. I didn’t even know its existence. So, a dry apple home. Sounds sweet.
– It is a sweet home.
– Indeed.
– Let’s enter and feast, shall we?

They entered inside the small, and cozy apple. Despite it being small, it had everything a nice home has. The dinner was served, with a variety of creative dishes, and all of them were made of apples.

– I didn’t know you could make so many different dishes with just an apple. And, oh, they’re delicious!
– I had to find ways to eat all the apple for it was so big. But I got sick of eating just apples, so I got creative.
– You’ve got some talent. It’s the most magnificent meal I had in a while. Hey, let me invite you to my house. I want to repay this welcome you’re giving me. How about this Saturday?
– I’ll be honored. It’ll be like being in the house of the mother of my home. ..that sounded weird. But sure, I’ll be there.

They had a nice chat after dinner, and they couldn’t stop talking. Just before midnight, promising another meal together, the apple house lodger went back home. And from then on, they shared meals, conversations, and a life together. The apple tree didn’t only give apples to eat, and a home to live. It became the link between these people, offering something more special, a sharing community. The end.

A weird story, don’t you think so? But gives a warmth and hapiness, and that is what the apple house is about. Sharing, caring and loving. Hope you like it, and look on other special stories to inspire and warm your heart.
